Jolie Estes

The Cellar is about four young women who are kidnapped and brought to a cellar. This cellar is not dirty, but made to embody a normal living space; complete with bathrooms, bedrooms and a kitchen. The girls are renamed and forced to live a new life style that their captor creates for them. Each girl is named after a flower, to symbolize purity, according to the captor. For the design of my book cover, I decided to scan real flowers on a scanner and create a sense of being trapped in darkness.
